The future lies before us as a vast field, full of possibilities, full of opportunities in personal, social, global matters. Or isn't there a positive view of the future any more? Young people are protesting as the "last generation" because they no longer see a future for themselves if things go on like this. Climate change, AI, wars: dystopian stories are the genre of the moment. Are we really facing a terrible future and is there nothing more we can do about it? On this evening, Nora-Eugenie Gomringer and Martin Beyer explore the wide, narrow field of the future and, alongside with their guests, looking for insights and outlooks that give us courage and allow us to sing along with Peter Fox: "Everyone paints it black, I see the future in pink."
