Welcome to our first public event of the new fellows awarded with the Villa Concordia-fellowship 2016/17!The board of trustees of the International House of Artists Villa Concordia has chosen our new guests from Italy and Germany in the fields of Musical Composition, Fine Arts and Literature. The artists have received the official invitation by the Minister for culture Dr. Spaenle and have responded in consent. We are happy to share the official press release right here (hyperlink) and are looking forward to some Dolce Vita ;-) New detail at our „Welcome-Evening“ in honor of the new bursars will be the exhibition opening of Petrine Vinje, who just has become an alumna of our house. The Norwegian Fine Artist, exhibiting internationally, will greet the new live-in-guests and audience members alike with pieces especially designed to interact with the inside and outdoor-facilites of Villa Concordia building and garden. A film showing the interaction of movement and signs in language will be part of the presentations. All in all this will grant us a wonderful opportunity to realize the grounds of Internationales Künstlerhaus from a new perspective.Exhibtion duration: May 12 – June 22, 2016 Open from Mo-Thurs 8-12 and 13-15 / Fr 8-13 / Sa & Sun 11-16No Admittance fee.
