Olena Ilnytska (born in 1977) is a composer of chamber and symphonic music. She graduated from the composition faculty at the National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv), where she studied with Ivan Karabyts and Myroslav Skoryk. In 2010, she received a “Gaude Polonia” scholarship to study at the Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice in the composition class of Alexander Lason.
She has been a member of the National Composers’ Union of Ukraine.
She has taken part in the contemporary music festivals “KyivMusicFest”, “Yourth Music Forum”, “Contrasts”, “Ukrainian Music Days in Warsaw”, “Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival” (USA) as well as the projects “Chopin: Transcriptions of our Time”, “Spectra of New Music in Ukraine”, “Pandemic Media Space”, “Workshops of Interpretation of Contemporary Music” where she won the Grand Prix of the Composers' Competition.
She teached at National Music Academy of Ukraine and Zhukovsky Music school in Kyiv.
