Primož Bizjak was born in Šempeter pri Gorici, Slovenia, in 1976. After his degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice he lived and worked in Madrid until relocating to Munich in 2018. Most recently, his work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Museum for Contemporary Art, Celje and Nova Gorica, Slovenija (2019-2020), Centro Arti Plastiche Carara, Italy(2019) and Galerija Gregor Podnar, Berlin, Germany (2018), Tasman Projects Madrid, Spain (2016) and Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2015). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions internationally, mostly in Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy, where he participated at the 54th Venice Biennale, Italian Pavilion/Arsenale tese di San Cristoforo (2011) and at Isola Mondo, a collateral event of the 53rd Venice Biennale (2009).
