Badianova Kateryna, born in 1979 in Melitopol, Ukraine. She is an artist and art critic, lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. In her artistic practice, she connects visual art and research approaches. In her works, she uses various artistic means, such as drawings, videos, photographs, installations, texts, and performances. Her research practice has focused on museology, art theory, and education.
She has co-curated and participated in international and Ukrainian exhibitions. She is a member of the curatorial and activist union Hudrada, (http://hudrada.tumblr.com/). Cofounder and director of the Method Fund (www.methodfund.org) (since 2015), and co-curator of its research and educational projects (https://courseofart.com/). Badianova studied at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (2011-2014), the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture in Kyiv (2003-2008), and 1996-2000 Dnipro Art College.
