Garance Arcadias is from the south of France and completed a double degree at the art schools in Nice (Villa Arson) and Munich (AdBK Munich). Subsidized by numerous institutions and awarded several scholarships, she completed her studies in 2018 with the support of the Alexander Tutsek Foundation as a master student of Prof. Gregor Schneider. She has been living in Germany for ten years, where she is continuing her research on passage and liminality in Munich. She was recently selected to participate in the “Yes we camp” project of Buropolis in Marseille, where she is experimenting with the glass of new windows.

In Bamberg, she plans to create sculptures from broken glass in order to develop a practice that focuses more on the concept of “infra-mince. ” Garance Arcadias is a guest of the institution from April 2022 to March 2023.
